Where Does London City Fly To

So, there I was, standing in the middle of London, looking up at the city's iconic skyline, when it hit me - where does London City fly to? I mean, we all know about the big boys like Heathrow and Gatwick, but what about the city's namesake airport? Let's dive in, shall we?

First things first, where's London City Airport?

Alright, let's not get lost in the clouds just yet. London City Airport, or LCY as the cool kids call it, is nestled in the Royal Docks, in the borough of Newham. It's a stone's throw from the Thames, and it's the only airport actually in London, believe it or not. The others are all in the 'burbs.

Now, who's flying where?

LCY might be the smallest of London's six airports, but it's no slouch. It's all about the business here, with over 40 destinations across Europe and beyond. Let's take a whirlwind tour, shall we?

First stop, Amsterdam. You can't swing a cat in London without hitting someone off to Amsterdam, and LCY's got you covered. It's one of the most popular routes, with multiple daily flights on KLM and British Airways.

Fancy a spot of sun? How about Malta? LCY offers direct flights to this Mediterranean gem. It's a popular choice for a quick getaway, and who can blame them? Blue seas, sunny skies, and a rich history - what's not to love?

Now, if you're feeling a bit more adventurous, how about Rouen? Yes, you read that right. LCY offers direct flights to this Normandy city, known for its half-timbered houses and the impressive Rouen Cathedral. It's a bit of a hidden gem, but well worth a visit.

And let's not forget the city that never sleeps - New York. LCY offers direct flights to JFK, perfect for those who want to skip the long queues and cramped connections at Heathrow. It's a long flight, but hey, at least you'll arrive in style.

But wait, there's more!

LCY might be small, but it's got big plans. They're always adding new routes, so who knows where you might be jetting off to next? They've even got their eyes on long-haul flights, so watch this space.

And there you have it, folks. London City Airport - where the city flies. So next time you're planning a trip, don't forget to check LCY. You might just find your perfect flight.

Until next time, happy travels!
