Where Can I Watch Saturday Night Live In The Uk

Hey there, fellow comedy enthusiast! You've found yourself wondering, "Where can I watch Saturday Night Live in the UK?" Well, grab a cuppa and let's chat about it, yeah?

First things first: The Official Way

Now, you might be thinking, "I'll just tune in on my telly, right?" Well, not quite. See, NBC's not exactly beaming SNL straight into our British living rooms. But don't worry, there's a workaround.

You've probably heard of Now TV, right? It's Sky's little streaming sister. They've got an Entertainment Pass that'll let you watch SNL live, straight from the US. It's like having a little American telly in your UK living room. Neat, huh?

But here's the thing, it's not free. It's £8.99 a month, and you'll need to sign up for a 7-day free trial to catch the live shows. Not bad, considering it's the official way to watch. Plus, you get a whole bunch of other channels and shows too.

Can't Commit? Try These Free Options

Now, if you're not feeling the commitment, or you're just looking to save a few quid, there are some free options out there. But remember, nothing in life is free, and these come with a few catches.

First up, there's YouTube. NBC posts full episodes and sketches on their channel a day after they air. The catch? You'll have to wait a whole day to watch. Patience, grasshopper.

Then there's Dailymotion. They've got full episodes too, but the quality can be a bit... meh. And don't expect to watch live. But hey, it's free, and it's there if you need it.

Want to Watch Live? Here's a Trick

Now, if you're dead set on watching SNL live, but you're not keen on paying, there's a little trick you can try. It's called a VPN, and it's basically a magic internet trick that makes your computer think it's in a different country.

Here's how it works: You sign up for a VPN service, connect to a US server, and then watch SNL on NBC's website or the NBC app. It's like you're suddenly in the US, watching telly. Magic, right?

But here's the thing: Not all VPNs work with NBC, and some can be a bit dodgy. So, do your research, and make sure you're using a reputable one. And remember, using a VPN to access geo-restricted content is a bit of a grey area, legally speaking. So, you know, don't say I told you to do anything illegal. I'm just saying, it's a thing that some people do.

So, Which One's for You?

Alright, so there you have it. The official way, the free ways, and the sneaky way. Each has its pros and cons, and it's up to you to decide which one works best for you.

Me? I'm a bit of a commitment-phobe, so I'd probably go for the free YouTube option. But that's just me. You do you, and happy SNL watching!
