When Do We Find Out Secondary School Places 2026

Hey there, coffee lover! You know what's brewing in the education world? The big reveal of secondary school places for the class of 2026! Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, that's ages away!" But trust me, time flies when you're having fun (and stressing about school placements).

So, when are we going to find out? Well, grab your calendars, folks! The big day is March 1st, 2026. Mark it down, circle it, write "Don't forget to breathe" around it. You know, just in case you get a little too excited.

Now, you might be wondering, "How will I find out?" Great question! The powers that be will send you an email with the good (or not so good) news. Isn't technology wonderful? No more waiting by the letterbox like a nervous cat!

But what if you don't get your first choice? Don't panic! There's a waiting list, and schools can change their minds (not that they ever do, but let's keep that between you and me). You can also appeal the decision. Remember, it's not the end of the world. Your kid will still go to school, I promise.

And hey, if you're feeling really adventurous, you could even consider a different type of school. There are loads of options out there - grammar, comprehensive, academy, free school... it's like choosing a coffee shop. Each has its own unique vibe, you know?

But for now, let's just enjoy our coffee and dream about the day our little ones will walk through those school gates. And maybe, just maybe, they'll remember to say thank you for all the coffee you drank while worrying about their future.

Until then, happy sipping, and here's to the class of 2026!
