Nicholas Lyndhurst What Is He Doing Now
Ever found yourself humming the theme tune to Only Fools and Horses and wondered, "Whatever happened to that cheeky chappie, Nicholas Lyndhurst?" Well, grab a cuppa and let's catch up with him, yeah?
From Trotters' Independent Trading to... Theatre?
You might be thinking, "How can we go from the Trotters' three-wheeled van to the West End?" Well, mate, Nicholas has been keeping busy, treading the boards and proving that he's not just a one-trick pony.
Remember when he played the lovable rogue, Rodney, in Only Fools? It's like he took a leaf out of Del Boy's book and decided to Branch Out, trying his hand at everything from Shakespeare to musicals.
Must Read
From Rodney to Romeo
In 2003, Nicholas swapped the Trotters' tower block for Verona, playing Romeo in a production of Romeo and Juliet. It's like going from driving a Reliant Robin to piloting a Ferrari, right?
But he didn't stop there. He's since played everything from Captain Hook in Peter Pan to the Artful Dodger in Oliver! It's like he's been on a theatrical treasure hunt, finding gems in all sorts of roles.
But Wait, There's More!
Nicholas hasn't just been treading the boards. He's also been keeping busy on the telly, proving that he's not a one-hit wonder.
Remember Goodnight Sweetheart? It's like he went from being a market trader to a time-traveling pub landlord. He played Gary Sparrow, a man who'd travel back in time to 1940s London. It's like he was living his own little Doctor Who adventure, yeah?
From Time Travel to... Gardening?
You might be thinking, "What's next for Nicholas?" Well, it turns out he's been getting his hands dirty. Literally.
In 2019, he took part in Celebrity MasterChef. It's like he went from selling dodgy goods to cooking up a storm. And guess what? He made it to the semi-finals! Not bad for a bloke who once sold a car with no engine, eh?
So, What's He Up To Now?
Well, mate, Nicholas has been keeping busy with the theatre. He's been touring the UK with Rumours, a play about the Rumours band. It's like he's gone from being a Trotter to a rock 'n' roll star, yeah?
And if that wasn't enough, he's also been busy with his family. He's a dad to two lovely lasses, and he's been enjoying some well-deserved family time. It's like he's finally found his own little piece of paradise, just like Del Boy always dreamed of.
So there you have it, folks. Nicholas Lyndhurst might have started out as a loveable rogue, but he's proven that he's so much more. He's been on a theatrical treasure hunt, a time-traveling adventure, and even a culinary journey. And he's not done yet. Here's to the next chapter in Nicholas' story, yeah?
