How Much Do Celebs Get Paid For Strictly

Ever wondered how much your favorite celebrities rake in for twirling their way into our hearts on Strictly Come Dancing? You're not alone! Let's dive into the sparkly world of Strictly salaries and find out who's waltzing away with the biggest paychecks.

So, how much do they get?

Alright, let's start with the main event: the celebrities. Now, remember, these figures are estimates and can vary year to year. But let's give you a ballpark, shall we?

For the newbies, the starting salary is around £25,000. Not bad for a few months of dance lessons, right? But here's where it gets interesting. If they make it to the final, they can cha-cha their way to an extra £50,000. That's a nice little bonus for a perfect ten!

Now, for the professional dancers, the starting salary is around £30,000. But, like the celebrities, if they make it to the final, they can earn an extra £50,000. Not too shabby for a season of lifts, twirls, and glitter!

But why should you care?

Well, apart from the obvious reason of pure curiosity (we all love a bit of celeb gossip!), there's more to it than just numbers. These salaries reflect the hard work, dedication, and passion these people put into their craft. It's not just about the money; it's about the love for dance.

Think about it like this: when you work overtime at your job, you expect a bit extra in your paycheck, right? It's the same for them. They're putting in extra hours, learning complex routines, and performing live on national TV. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!

Let's talk about the judges

Now, let's not forget our beloved judges. They might not be dancing, but they're certainly earning their keep. The head judge, Shirley Ballas, is estimated to earn around £175,000 per series. And the other judges, like Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse, are thought to earn around £100,000 each.

But remember, these judges are industry professionals with years of experience. They're providing valuable feedback, guiding the couples, and keeping us entertained with their critiques. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do that too!

So, what's the takeaway?

At the end of the day, it's not just about the money. It's about the love for dance, the passion for performance, and the joy of sharing that with millions of viewers every week. So, the next time you're watching Strictly, remember, you're not just seeing a dance competition; you're witnessing the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and yes, even a bit of extra cash.

And who knows? Maybe one day, you'll be the one waltzing away with the Glitterball trophy (and a nice little paycheck!). Until then, let's enjoy the show and appreciate the effort that goes into making it the sparkling spectacle it is.
