How Long Is Strictly On Tonight

So, there I was, last Saturday night, armed with a glass of wine and a mountain of laundry, ready to dive into my weekly Strictly Come Dancing fix. I'd been looking forward to it all week, you know, the glitz, the glam, the sequins, and of course, the drama. But as I reached for the remote, I was hit with a sudden wave of panic. I hadn't checked the schedule. Was it on tonight? Or had I missed it? The suspense was killing me!

If you're anything like me, you're probably wondering, "How long is Strictly on tonight?" Well, grab a cuppa, get comfy, and let's find out together.

First things first, what time does Strictly start?

Alright, so let's not beat around the bush. You're here for the timings, and I'm here to deliver. Strictly Come Dancing typically starts at 7:10 PM on BBC One. But wait, before you adjust your schedules, remember that this is British Summer Time (BST). Once the clocks go back in October, it'll be starting at 6:10 PM. So, keep that in mind, folks in the Northern Hemisphere!

Now, you might be thinking, "That's all well and good, but how long does the show actually go on for?" Well, let's dive into that.

How long is Strictly Come Dancing tonight?

Strictly, as we all know, is a show that loves to take its time. It's like that friend who's always fashionably late but makes up for it with a good story. So, don't be surprised if it runs a little over its allocated time. But officially, it's scheduled to end at 8:00 PM.

That's right, you've got a solid hour and 50 minutes to enjoy the spectacle. But remember, this is live TV we're talking about. Things can, and often do, run over. So, if you're planning to catch the results show immediately after, you might want to keep an eye on the time.

What about the results show?

Now, if you're a die-hard Strictly fan, you might be wondering about the results show. Well, fear not! It's usually scheduled to start immediately after the main show ends. So, you can expect it to begin around 8:00 PM, give or take a few minutes.

The results show typically runs for about an hour, wrapping up around 9:00 PM. But again, this is live TV, so timings can vary. Plus, you never know when a dance-off might pop up and extend the show a little longer.

What if I miss it? Can I catch up later?

Oh, the dreaded question! We've all been there. You meant to watch, you really did, but life happened. Well, don't worry. The BBC iPlayer has got you covered. You can catch up on the entire episode the next day, or even stream it live while it's airing if you've got a compatible device.

And if you're really keen, you can even set up a reminder on the iPlayer app. That way, you'll never miss an episode again. Isn't technology wonderful?

So there you have it, folks. Your guide to Strictly Come Dancing timings. Now, go forth, grab your dancing shoes, and enjoy the show!
