Andrew Was Arrested On Suspicion Of Misconduct In Public Office

So, Andrew's Had a Bit of a Day...

You know those days when you wake up, and you just know it's going to be one of those days? Well, Andrew here must have had his tea spiked with fairy dust or something, because his day has been... eventful, to say the least.

Picture this: Andrew, our friendly neighborhood IT guy, was just minding his own business, fixing Mrs. Thompson's printer (again), when he gets a call from the police. Now, I don't know about you, but when the cops call me, it's usually because I've left my bike in a restricted area. But Andrew? Oh no, he's playing in the big leagues now.

Cue the Blue and Red Lights

Andrew, looking as confused as a puppy in a thunderstorm, is told to come down to the station. He's not under arrest, they assure him, they just want to have a little chat. Right. Because when the police say they want to "chat," it's usually about as casual as a root canal.

So, Andrew, our intrepid hero, trots down to the station, still clueless about what's going on. And then, bam, they hit him with it. He's been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Now, I don't know about you, but my first thought would be, "What public office? I'm just an IT guy!" But Andrew, bless his heart, just looks even more confused.

Misconduct in Public Office? Really?

Now, I'm no lawyer, but I've watched enough Law & Order to know that misconduct in public office is a big deal. It's like they think Andrew's been embezzling city funds or something. But Andrew? He's more likely to spend his lunch break playing Minecraft than plotting some grand heist.

So, what's a guy to do? Well, Andrew, being the sensible sort, asks for a lawyer. And then, he waits. And waits. And waits some more. Because, you know, the wheels of justice turn slowly. Especially when they're stuck in a muddy puddle of confusion.

Meanwhile, Back at the Office...

Meanwhile, back at the office, the poor sods who work with Andrew are trying to figure out what on earth is going on. They've gone from "Where's Andrew?" to "What did Andrew do?" in about five minutes flat. And poor Mrs. Thompson is still waiting for her printer to work. Priorities, people!

Now, I'm not saying Andrew's innocent. I mean, we all know he's been sneaking into the break room and drinking the good coffee. But misconduct in public office? That's a whole other kettle of fish. And I, for one, want to know what the heck is going on.
